About BBS Automation

BBS Automation is a systems provider for industrial assembly and test automation based in Garching near Munich and part of the Dürr Group. The company develops and manufactures special-purpose machinery and production systems for the assembly, feeding, testing and packaging of complex products – from syringes, needles, contact lenses and dialysis filters in medical technology to e-drives, hairpin stators made of enameled copper wire and battery components. The core platform is the RTS ring transfer system (TEAMED) with 8 to 40 stations and up to 120 cycles per minute, suitable for cleanroom use and available with lead times from 16 weeks. For e-mobility, BBS supplies standardized EOL test benches (e-DRIVE TEST) including the teamsoft test software based on NI LabVIEW, as well as process engineering and removal technology for injection molding processes at the Hallbergmoos site. The company employs around 2,500 people at 15 locations in Europe, North America and Asia and serves customers in Life Science, Mobility, Battery/New Energy, Consumer Products as well as Electronics and Semiconductors.
