About BDB Beton
BDB Beton GmbH is a regional ready-mixed concrete company based in Hohenhameln and Hildesheim, formed from Frischbeton Bettels GmbH, founded in 1961, and DIBA-Beton Baustoffgesellschaft, founded in 2005. Since 1 April 2025 the company has operated as the merged brand BDB Beton. Products include ready-mixed and fresh concrete of all strength classes, recycled concrete (R Beton), CO₂-reduced concrete, hydraulically bound base courses (HGT), liquid soil, plant-mixed fresh mortar, special construction materials such as drainage concrete and steel-fibre concrete, as well as concrete blocks and bulk goods such as sand and gravel. Production takes place at nine concrete mixing plants in Lower Saxony; the company's own GPS-controlled fleet of truck mixers, silo trailers and gravel transporters delivers just in time to the construction site, supplemented by concrete pumps with boom heights of 24 to 62 metres. A certified concrete laboratory handles construction materials testing including in-house production control. Customers come from building and civil engineering, road and pavement construction, engineering and commercial construction, agricultural building, landscaping construction, municipal construction and wind turbine construction.

Quality Assurance
The concretes are subject to in-house production control (WPK) as well as regular external monitoring by BAU-ZERT e.V. and BÜV Norde e.V.; manufacture and delivery are carried out according to DIN EN 206 / DIN 1045-2. The certified in-house laboratory tests fresh and hardened concrete, mortar, screed, aggregates and cement and monitors sites of monitoring classes 2 and 3.
