About us
BDB Beton GmbH is a regional ready-mixed concrete company with over 60 years of experience in the production and delivery of concrete and building materials. The company was formed on 1 April 2025 through the merger of Frischbeton Bettels GmbH (founded 1961) and DIBA-Beton Baustoffgesellschaft (founded 2005) and is part of the Bettels Group. At a total of 9 locations in Lower Saxony, BDB Beton produces ready-mixed concrete of all strength classes (C 8/10 to C 50/60, special concretes up to C55/67) in accordance with DIN EN 206 / DIN 1045-2, as well as recycled concrete (R Beton), CO₂-reduced concrete, steel-fibre concrete, WU concrete (water-impermeable concrete), drainage concrete, liquid soil, hydraulically bound base courses (HGT) and factory-fresh mortar. The portfolio is complemented by concrete pumps with mast heights of 24 to 56 metres, a certified concrete laboratory for building material testing, haulage services, GPS-supported dispatch and disposal services via sister companies. Customers come from building and civil engineering, road and engineering construction, agricultural construction, wind energy, sewage treatment plant construction as well as garden and landscaping construction. The company's headquarters are located in Hildesheim, the administration in Hohenhameln.

Ready-mixed concrete
Concrete in accordance with DIN EN 206 / DIN 1045-2 for building, civil and engineering construction in all strength classes.
Recycled concrete
Concrete with recycled aggregates that conserves raw material extraction and returns materials to the material cycle.
CO₂-reduced concrete
Concrete with reduced cement clinker usage to reduce the CO₂ emissions of the construction industry.
Steel-fibre concrete
Concrete with steel fibres for heavy-duty applications such as industrial floors and hall construction.
WU concrete
Water-impermeable concrete in accordance with the DAfStb guideline for structural works and tank construction.
Drainage concrete
Water-permeable single-size concrete in accordance with FGSV for drainage tasks.
Liquid soil
Flowable backfill material for refilling shafts and pits in civil and pipeline construction.
Hydraulically bound base course
Base course in road and path construction as part of the road structure beneath asphalt or concrete pavements.
Factory-fresh mortar
Mortar in accordance with DIN 1053 in strength classes M5 and M10 for masonry construction.
Aggregates
Tested grains and bulk materials such as sand and gravel for concrete and civil engineering.

Quality assurance
All delivery plants are subject to in-house production control (WPK) as well as external surveillance by BAU-Zert e.V. and BÜV Norde e.V. The company's own certified concrete laboratory carries out fresh and hardened concrete tests, raw material checks and initial tests of new mix designs.
