About BDI-BioEnergy International
BDI-BioEnergy International GmbH is a technology company active in international plant engineering, focusing on chemical recycling and bioenergy. Using its proprietary SynCycle® technology based on the T-CRACKER® pyrolysis reactor, mixed and non-recyclable plastic waste is converted through thermal depolymerisation into recycling-grade alcohols or high-quality oils, which are fed back into the chemical and plastics industry. The compact, modular plants process around 8,000 tonnes of plastic waste per year per line and can be scaled up by adding additional process lines. The range of services includes research and technology development, process design and scale-up, plant engineering, commissioning and after-sales service. More than 70 reference projects worldwide demonstrate the experience in international plant engineering; these include projects with Ghent Renewables (green fuels) as well as a strategic investment with Prismore Capital and Rieckermann in tyre pyrolysis.

Materials and Processes
Pyrolysis / thermal depolymerisation (SynCycle®)
Decomposes mixed plastic waste into short-chain hydrocarbons, which are condensed into recycling-grade alcohols.
SynCycle® plant line
Compact, modular plant for processing around 8,000 tonnes of plastic waste per year, scalable in multiples.
