BDS Maschinen is a German manufacturer of magnetic drilling machines, core drills for metal and industrial metalworking solutions. The portfolio comprises 33 models of magnetic core drilling machines, core drills in 7 series with 4 cutting depths, chamfering machines as well as pneumatic and battery-powered special solutions such as rail drilling and weld seam milling machines. The flagship is the MAB 2300 with drilling diameters up to 200 mm and thread cutting up to M50. In addition to series production, the company offers special machine construction – from consulting and design through to manufacturing. The offering is complemented by accessories such as milling heads, indexable inserts and lubricants as well as an online spare parts portal with interactive exploded-view drawings. The machines are used in industry and trade, including structural steel engineering, plant construction, bridge construction, power plant construction, track construction and shipbuilding. In 2023, BDS Maschinen was honoured with the German Brand Award; four machine models received design awards such as the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award.
