About BEC
BEC Gesellschaft für Produktmanagement mbH, headquartered in Moers, specialises in the manufacture of permanent magnets and magnetic systems for industrial applications. The portfolio includes sintered and cast AlNiCo materials, sintered NdFeB magnets, SmCo5 and Sm2Co17 materials as well as plastic-bonded ferrites and plastic-bonded NdFeB, which are shaped by injection moulding, extrusion or pressing. With the further-developed TERRAMAG® S series, the company offers sintered NdFeB materials for operating temperatures between 100 and 220 °C with minimal irreversible magnetic losses. The technical department, expanded at the Moers site, provides calculations and simulations for the design of machines and motors; customer specifications are verified in the company's own laboratory, including by magnetic and chemical material analyses. Logistics is geared towards industrial and automotive customers, with call-off systems and safety stock. Buyers of the magnetic systems include aerospace, robotics, automotive, medical, acoustics, sensor technology, drive technology and automation.

Magnet materials & processes
AlNiCo, sintered
High-temperature-stable permanent magnet material for applications up to 500 °C, isotropic or anisotropic.
AlNiCo, cast
As the oldest group of permanent magnet materials, indispensable thanks to its excellent temperature coefficient, among other things in loudspeakers.
NdFeB, sintered
Magnet material with high remanence and energy density for electric motors, generators, wind power and medical technology.
TERRAMAG® S (further-developed NdFeB)
Sintered NdFeB series with HcJ > 520 kA/m for operating temperatures from 100 to 220 °C without significant irreversible losses.
SmCo5
Samarium-cobalt material up to about 250 °C with excellent corrosion and temperature resistance.
Sm2Co17
Material usable up to 350 °C with low temperature coefficients and coercive field strengths of about 1500–3000 kA/m.
Plastic-bonded ferrites
Magnet powders mixed with polymer, injection-moulded, extruded or pressed, for complex geometries.
Plastic-bonded NdFeB
Allows more complex shaping and systems combined with other parts than sintered magnets.
