BECHEM COGELSA Iberia S.L. is a joint venture between the German special lubricant manufacturer BECHEM and the Spanish lubricant expert COGELSA Compañía General de Lubricantes S.A., founded in 1916 in Barcelona. The company is a development partner for innovative custom lubricant solutions and covers the entire value chain from development through production to logistics. The focus is on special lubricants for the automotive industry, in particular for interior components, mechatronic systems, electrical contacts, chassis and brake systems, seat and belt systems, as well as locking systems and hinges. In addition, the company offers anti-friction coatings for metallic materials, elastomers, plastics, leather and vinyl, as well as high-performance lubricants based on perfluoropolyether. The products are approved by many leading vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. The site with development, production and logistics is located in Sant Andreu de la Barca near Barcelona; the sales territory covers the Iberian Peninsula.
