About Bechtum s.r.o.
Bechtum s.r.o., based in Prague, provides complete assembly teams for industrial and construction projects throughout Europe. The service portfolio includes plant and line assembly, steel construction including heavy-duty racking and façade elements, industrial electrical installation with control cabinet wiring and commissioning, welding work to EN ISO 9606-1, coating and painting, HVAC systems as well as maintenance, dismantling and relocation of production lines. Welding is performed using TIG (141), MIG (131), MAG (135), MMA (111) and oxy-fuel (311) processes on carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium; piping welds are X-ray inspected. The teams bring their own tools, organised accommodation and site management. With around 70 skilled workers and more than 30 projects completed in 2025, Bechtum serves industries from automotive and mechanical engineering to paper and chemical industries, logistics, waste-to-energy and industrial construction. Projects have been realised, among others, in Germany, Austria, France and the Netherlands; communication is in German, English, Czech and Polish.

Quality & Certificates
Welders are qualified to EN ISO 9606-1, piping welds are X-ray inspected. The fitters hold personal SCC certificates (SCC Doc. 018) as well as A1 certificates, crane, forklift and aerial work platform licences within the team.
