Becker Sonder-Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Langenberg near Gütersloh, was founded in 1993 and planned, designed, manufactured and sold special-purpose machinery of all kinds. The company developed and built customised machinery solutions – from the initial idea through development, project planning and design to manufacturing, assembly, automation, commissioning and service. The focus of the Langenberg site was on sustainable packaging solutions and complex saw technology; the production of cardboard packaging cushions is also documented. The systems were used, among other things, in the packaging industry, the furniture industry, for doors/frames, floors, insulation materials/building components, storage and conveying technology, and in timber construction. Since 2022, the company had operated jointly with G. Kraft Maschinenbau GmbH as the Kraft Group; as of 01.01.2024, Becker Sonder-Maschinenbau GmbH was merged into G. Kraft Maschinenbau GmbH. The Kraft and Becker brand names are being continued, and the Langenberg site remains in place with its operational contacts.
