About Becker Stahlbau Berlin
Becker Stahlbau Berlin GmbH specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of elevator shaft frames for the retrofitting of elevator systems. Clients are leading elevator manufacturers in Germany; the steel-glass shaft frames made of open steel profiles are designed project-specifically to suit the building fabric, structural requirements and elevator type. The basis is a proprietary design system, the Becker Standard, which has been continuously developed over more than 2,000 realized projects nationwide and has become the benchmark for elevator shaft frames in Berlin. Manufacturing takes place with in-house production depth in the workshop in Berlin-Reinickendorf, where every component undergoes an internal quality inspection before leaving the workshop. Permanently employed installation teams install the constructions even in confined conditions and in occupied buildings; in addition to shaft frames, post-and-beam constructions, canopies and portals are also manufactured. Reference projects include the Europa-Center, Alexa and Café Moskau in Berlin as well as the Babelsberg Town Hall in Potsdam.
