About Beckers
Beckers is a globally active manufacturer of coil coatings and industrial paints with its group headquarters in Berlin. The company develops and produces coating systems for pre-coated steel and aluminium coil as well as for plastic exterior components in the automotive industry; further fields of application include trucks and commercial vehicles, the building and construction industry, and household appliances. The portfolio comprises polyester- and polyurethane-based systems, multi-layer builds, water-based primer coatings (Beckqua® Color), chrome-effect coatings (EcoChrome®) and the in-house developed UV/EB radiation curing, which was used for the first time in 2023 on an industrial coil coating line in the construction sector. Beckers employs around 1,700 people at 23 production sites in 17 countries and supplies customers in 60 countries. About 20% of the workforce work in laboratories, and 4% of revenue flows into research and development. The group is owned by Lindéngruppen, a Swedish family-owned company.
