bedo Verpackungstechnik GmbH is a medium-sized, owner-managed company based in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. Since 1967, the company has been developing, designing and manufacturing machines for carton end-of-line packaging: case erectors, tray erectors, case packers, side loaders, tray packers, wrap-around packers, case sealers, lidding machines and product handling systems. Based on proven functional modules, customised packaging solutions are configured, up to and including the integrated FIPS® system (Fully Integrated Packaging System). The machines process all common corrugated board grades and carton formats according to FEFCO, sealed with hotmelt, adhesive tape or water-activated gummed tape; all machine components are manufactured in the company's own production area. Around 50 employees cover the entire life cycle – from development through assembly and commissioning to maintenance, remote teleservice, a 24-hour hotline and spare parts supply, including for older models. Customers include companies from the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, pet food, chemical, e-commerce and logistics sectors.
