BEFU Umwelttechnik GmbH from Neustadt (Dosse) specialises in the manufacture of bodyless valves and customised special constructions in stainless steel and steel. The product range includes tilting flood barriers, backflow prevention flaps, plate gates, stop logs and steel constructions for water and wastewater engineering. Manufacturing includes waterjet cutting of metals up to 125 mm material thickness as well as rubber, stone, tiles and wood, turning and milling work, the manufacture of trapezoidal thread spindles and spindle nuts, plate rounding of sheets up to 8 mm at 3.0 m plate width, and the production of screw conveyors. The offering is rounded out by glass bead blasting, pickling and passivation of stainless steel parts, assembly service, and maintenance and repair service. Tilting flood barriers are manufactured in stainless steel 1.4301, 1.4404 or 1.4571, with seals made of wastewater-resistant EPDM, CR or NBR. Valves are tested on an in-house pressure test rig. The company is certified according to DIN EN 1090 EXC 4 and supports projects from individual planning and design through to assembly.
