About Befuß Modell- und Formenbau

Befuß Modell- und Formenbau GmbH was founded in 1989 in Wolfsburg and manufactures in Oebisfelde functional, design, appearance and vehicle models as well as master models, samples and prototypes. The range of services includes rapid prototyping using the FDM process (Stratasys FDM 900 mc, ABS-M30, PC, PPSU, build size up to 914 × 610 × 914 mm), CNC milling on gantry machines (Kirksite, Ureol, light metal, travel up to 5500 × 3600 × 1100 mm) and 2D laser cutting with a 5000-watt CO2 laser (Trumatic L 4050) for structural steel, stainless steel and aluminium. In addition, press brake bending (Trumpf TruBend 5085, 850 kN), design engineering, metrology and surface finishing in an in-house paint booth are offered. The main customer is the automotive industry. The company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 2000. Production takes place in Oebisfelde, Lower Saxony, while the office address is located in Wolfsburg.
