Begonien Rieger

About Begonien Rieger

Begonien Rieger is a family business in its 6th generation, specialising in the propagation of ornamental plants for the retail trade. The assortment comprises begonias for indoors and outdoors – including foliage begonias – from the company's own breeding as well as from other leading breeders, plus Euphorbia Hot Milii and echeverias. Deliveries consist mainly of young plants, as well as unrooted cuttings and semi-finished stock in various pot sizes and developmental stages. All production takes place exclusively in Baden-Württemberg; small quantities are not supplied to private individuals; instead, a retailer referral service is offered to end customers. Customers and references include Mainau Island, the Federal Garden Show Mannheim 2023, the Association of German Cemetery Gardeners and the Plant of the Year campaign in Hesse and Baden-Württemberg. The company is present at trade fairs such as IPM Essen.
