About us
BeGra Befestigungstechnik Behr GmbH is a family-run company based in Gedern (Hesse) engaged in the wholesale and retail trade of tools, machines, fastening technology, electrical equipment and building materials. The company was established in March 2008 after Ernst Uwe Behr parted ways with his founding partner and continued the business as a family enterprise; the GmbH is registered with the local court of Friedberg (Hesse) under HRB 6600. Previously, Behr had gone into business with a colleague in 2002 following a change in ITW Spit's sales strategy, initially distributing products from the company Spit. Over the years, the product range was expanded to include numerous other suppliers. According to the company's own account, it has established itself as a major Spit distributor in Germany. Customer service, consulting and supplier selection are also offered directly at the customer's premises or on the construction site. Since July 2026, Carina Behr has been the managing director.

Daughter Carina (later Ragusa) joined the team as chief secretary for office tasks.
