About Behringer Kunststoff

Behringer Kunststoff GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized injection molding company founded in 1990 by Kurt Behringer and headquartered in Velbert. On around 3,600 sqm of production and warehouse space, approximately 20 employees manufacture technical plastic injection-molded parts from thermoplastics such as PP, PE, ABS, PMMA, POM, PA, PBT, PC, PS, TPE and TPU. The machine fleet comprises 26 Arburg injection molding machines with clamping forces of 35 to 550 t for part weights of 0.3 g to 1469 g; annual production amounts to approx. 75 million parts. In addition to series production, the company offers design services with CAD/CAM and mold filling simulation, in-house tool and mold making including new builds and repairs, additive manufacturing with two Arburg freeformers for prototypes and small series, contract manufacturing of third-party productions as well as single-unit and series assemblies. Customers include, among others, the lock and fittings industry, window and door/gate construction, filtration technology, automotive, aerospace, medical technology, mechanical engineering and the electrical industry. The management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Quality Assurance

Quality assurance accompanies the products according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 from manufacturing through to shipping and uses a Babtec CAQ system, a 3D coordinate measuring machine, a 2D profile projector and a spectrophotometer. The principle of error prevention rather than error detection takes priority.
