Beiersdorf Ukraine is a 100% subsidiary of Beiersdorf AG, headquartered in Hamburg, and distributes skin care products on the Ukrainian market. The company employs around 64 staff members and, with the brands NIVEA, NIVEA MEN and Eucerin, focuses on the needs of local consumers. The parent company was founded in Hamburg in 1882 and is regarded as the inventor of modern skin care; worldwide, the group employs around 20,000 people in more than 150, respectively 160, branches. The group's portfolio includes, among others, NIVEA, Eucerin, La Prairie, Labello, 8x4, Hansaplast, Aquaphor and Coppertone; the subsidiary tesa SE supplies self-adhesive products and system solutions for industry. The Ukrainian branch handles sales, marketing as well as PR and public relations. The products are not manufactured in Kyiv, but in the group's plants, among others in Hamburg, Berlin and Leipzig.
