About Beijing Jingdiao
Beijing Jingdiao (精雕科技) is a Chinese manufacturer of CNC high-speed machining centers headquartered in Beijing. The portfolio includes three-axis and five-axis milling centers (JDGR, JDMR and JDSR series), high-speed grinding centers, mill-turn combination centers as well as special machines for graphite and sheet processing, with machining envelopes from 175 mm to 750 mm Z-travel and workpiece weights up to 1,500 kg. The machines achieve machining accuracy of 2–5 µm with 0.1 µm feed resolution, 1 µm cutting depth and nanometer-scale surface roughness. The group manufactures its own high-speed precision electrospindles (up to 36,000 rpm) in heat-treated, climate-controlled production and cleanroom assembly halls, and develops the JD50 control, the CAM software SurfMill and the IFactory production management system in-house. The engineering department has developed more than 300 machine types and over 600 customer-specific variants since the company was founded. Typical applications are found in precision molds, medical technology, optics, electronics, watchmaking, jewelry, automotive and turbomachinery parts as well as graphite electrodes.

Five-axis and three-axis high-speed machines are equipped with an in-process measurement system (on-machine measurement) that quantifies machine, tool and workpiece conditions and automatically analyzes and compensates errors. The JDGR200T was certified by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society at level 9 and the JDGR400T at level 8 according to the group-internal standard “Machine Equipment Manufacturing Maturity”.

The JDGR200T received the “Manufacturing Maturity Level 9” rating according to the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society group standard; the JDGR400T was the first domestic five-axis high-speed machine with level-8 certification.
