About BEKA
BEKA Heiz- und Kühlmatten GmbH is a manufacturer of components for water-based surface temperature control with over 30 years of experience. In its own production facility in Berlin-Pankow, capillary tube mats made from pure-grade polypropylene, copper pipe meanders made from Cu-DHP to EN 12449 and single pipe systems with 10 mm PE-RT 5-layer composite pipe are produced. The capillary tubes are produced by extrusion with a wall thickness of only 0.5 mm. All products are manufactured project-specifically according to bills of materials in the required quantities and dimensions, and are delivered ready for installation on site, labelled and on time by freight forwarder; the delivery time is approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Applications include heating and cooling ceilings, wall heating systems and thin-layer underfloor heating systems for residential and office buildings, hospitals, hotels, public buildings and precast concrete construction. A focus is capillary tube technology as heat exchangers in ice storage systems for solar and wind power as well as cooling networks; projects covering more than 100,000 m² of area have been implemented. BEKA supports building services planners, architects and installers with technical consulting, calculation tools and standards-compliant testing through recognised test laboratories.

Materials and Technologies
Polypropylene random copolymer Type 3, DIN 8078
Pure-grade, easily recyclable material for capillary tube mats with 0.5 mm wall thickness for heating and cooling ceilings and underfloor heating.
Bimodal polyethylene composite P100, DIN 8075
Material of the capillary tube mat type P.VG10.PE for ice storage applications.
PE-RT 5-layer composite pipe, oxygen diffusion-tight to DIN 4726 / ISO
10 mm composite pipe of the single pipe technology with high flexibility for drywall construction, plaster and thermal conductivity profiles.
Copper pipe Cu-DHP to EN 12449, soft R220
For copper pipe meanders as serpentine with optimal heat transfer, optionally factory-glued into metal cassettes.
Wood soft fibre carrier board (ClimatePower)
60 mm carrier board into which capillary tube mats are milled; low thermal conductivity reduces upward heat output.

Quality
Production takes place under strict operational standards: All production steps are continuously monitored, and an additional final inspection is carried out at the end of the production run. Standards-compliant tests for many standard installation situations have been performed by recognised test laboratories; BEKA guarantees a 15-year warranty on all products of its own manufacture.
