bekro chemie GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Überherrn, develops and produces colors, pigments and dyes, lacquers, perfumes as well as additives and stabilizers for candles and other wax applications. Founded in 1966, the company was one of the first suppliers of specialized candle colors and today serves candle manufacturers and the wax processing industry worldwide, including applications such as cheese wax, shoe polishes, dental waxes and investment casting waxes. In its own development laboratory, individual color, lacquer and fragrance formulas are elaborated and tested; the service portfolio includes consulting, training, color and fragrance management as well as product testing with digital color measurement and gas chromatography. With the cloud-based RAINBOW color mixing system, bekro supports customers in developing their own formulas. Employees and sales structures in Europe, Asia, North and South America ensure distribution and support; in addition to its headquarters, the company maintains offices in the USA and China.
