About Bekum
Bekum is a manufacturer of extrusion blow molding machines for hollow bodies from 5 ml to over 1,000 liters, based in Berlin since 1959. The machine portfolio comprises fully electric and hydraulic systems for packaging, pharmaceutical and medical primary packaging in cleanroom quality, canisters, large containers, IBCs and fuel tanks. The machines are complemented by in-house developed extrusion heads with spiral distributors (mono, tri and co-extrusion up to 7 layers) as well as extruders. In addition to machine building, Bekum offers in-house and contract mechanical manufacturing with 5-axis CNC milling, CNC turning, welding, flame cutting, sandblasting and phosphating, as well as engineering services from FEM simulation to 3D prototyping. Customers come from pharma, medical, food, cosmetics, household chemicals, chemicals and automotive. More than 18,000 machines are installed worldwide; locations are in Berlin, Traismauer (Austria), Siegburg and Williamston (USA).
