About Belagswerk Rinau AG

Belagswerk Rinau AG operates a paving plant (asphalt mixing plant) in Kaiseraugst in the canton of Aargau and produces high-quality asphalt mix for a variety of applications. The product range includes surface courses (4, 8 and 11 mm), binder and base courses (11 to 32 mm), foundation courses as well as various special pavements such as Stützgerüst (retaining framework), sports field drain, pre-coated chippings and Hochbord (high kerb). Normal bitumen of various grades as well as polymer bitumen (PmB E) are used as binders; in addition, recycled products with 70, 80 or 100 % RC asphalt granulate are offered (RiTrag, Oekophalt, Greenphalt). Recipes for the Swiss Federal Railways (AC Rail 16/22) and cantonal recipes (Typ Kt. BL/BS) complete the programme. The company advises customers on mix selection and pavement structure according to traffic load classes T1–T6 and prepares the mix to requirements for installation. Since 2008 the plant has been committed to energy efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gases, and holds the SÜGB certificate as well as being a certificate holder of the Energy Agency of the Economy (EnAW).
