Belec – Expert in Optical Spectrometers
Belec Spektrometrie Opto-Elektronik GmbH is a German manufacturer of optical emission spectrometers (OES/spark spectrometers) for the analysis of metals and alloys. The portfolio includes mobile devices such as the Belec Compact Port HLC for on-site analysis as well as stationary laboratory instruments (Vario Lab, IN-SPECT II, OPTRON). The OES portfolio is complemented by XRF analyzers (XRF) from partner Evident: mobile handheld analyzers of the Vanta series and the benchtop analyzer Vanta GX for non-destructive precious metal testing. Belec manufactures most spare parts and accessory components such as adapters, probes and sample containers in-house. In addition to instrument sales and development, the company offers contract analyses, maintenance in accordance with DIN 31051, repair, remote servicing and user training. The instruments are used in foundries, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, recycling, the energy sector and precious metal trading. Belec is represented worldwide by more than 40 representatives. The site with development, production, sales and service is located in Georgsmarienhütte.
