BeLi Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Seligenstadt, manufactures handrails for elevator cars to customer specifications. The portfolio includes straight handrails, curved handrails in accordance with DIN EN 81-70, wall-to-wall handrails as well as wrap-around (three-sided) handrails and custom solutions. The core product is the patented e-li fastening system ("easy link"), which enables one-person assembly from inside the car, integrates a hole misalignment compensation of ± 5 mm, and is particularly suitable for modernizations and retrofitted handrail installations. Handrails and components are manufactured just in time in Germany. Materials are stainless steel 1.4301 (grit 240/600), wood running surfaces in oak, walnut and beech, as well as galvanized, blue-chromated steel (ST 37) for the "Strong Backbone" wall reinforcement. Customers are elevator manufacturers and elevator modernizers; in addition to direct sales, distribution is handled via distributors in the United Kingdom/Ireland, France/Belgium/Luxembourg and the USA.
