Bellmer is a family-owned German engineering and mechanical engineering company based in Niefern-Öschelbronn (Baden-Württemberg), founded in 1842 by Carl Bellmer through the purchase of a paper mill. The company manufactures and installs complete paper and cardboard machines as well as systems and upgrades for existing machines, focusing on packaging paper, cardboard, and specialty fiber products such as fiberboards made from gypsum, mineral, or leather fibers. In the Separation Technology division, Bellmer develops and manufactures belt presses (WinklePress), screw presses (AKUPRESS), disc thickeners (AKSE), and plants for sludge and fiber dewatering for wastewater treatment, recycling, and the food industry. Manufacturing takes place in its own workshops in Germany and Finland, complemented by roller construction, roll service, grinding, and balancing, as well as worldwide assembly and commissioning. With over 900 employees at 17 international locations, Bellmer supplies the paper and cardboard industry, municipalities, pharma/chemical, recycling, mining, fruit juice, and biogas sectors.
