Bender Mechanik GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed mechanical engineering company founded in 1949, headquartered in Althengstett in the district of Calw. Its core competencies lie in the development, design and manufacture of special fixtures and automation systems – from the first draft and detailed CAD drawings through to manufacturing, control, documentation, assembly and maintenance. In the field of individual part manufacturing, the company performs CNC turning and milling as well as grinding work for round and flat materials. The offering is complemented by automation of assembly processes, special machine building, and repair of machines and pumps with specialized individual part manufacturing, for example for electric motors and gearboxes. All projects are developed in-house, enabling short response times and adjustments in real time. Customers come, among others, from the automotive industry including suppliers, electronics and sensor technology.

History

Heinrich Bender founded the company "Bender Mechanische Werkstätte" as a sole proprietorship; specialties: individual part manufacturing, turning and milling work, pump and machine repairs, and special machine building.
- 1988
Armin Schadow took over the company.
- 1997
Relocation to the new operational facilities and workshop in Althengstett, Im Unteren Ried 9.

In January, the sole proprietorship was converted into a GmbH & Co. KG.
