Benjamin Mair Maschinenbau in Mering (Bavaria) specialises in contract manufacturing through CNC machining. At its core, the company produces series parts on two CNC lathes (Index G200YB and Spinner PD) with driven tools and counter-spindles, as well as on a 3-axis milling machining centre Unitech GX1000 with tool changer, internal coolant, zero-point clamping system and automation. Turning is performed up to Ø 60 mm directly from the bar, and up to Ø 100 mm via the loading portal; the precision lathe machines parts up to Ø 40 mm. Thanks to bar, portal and pallet loaders, even large lot sizes are produced economically, complemented by cutting and contract sawing on an AMADA HFA 250W automatic saw. Materials are predominantly stainless steels and aluminium alloys, plus brass, copper and steels of all kinds. Customers are mainly medium-sized manufacturing companies, for whom the company acts as a flexible extended workbench producing on demand. The QM system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
