About Benker Packaging
Benker Packaging manufactures thermoform plastic packaging in Dietenhofen, Bavaria: trays, workpiece carriers, blisters (hinged and sliding blisters), inserts as well as ESD packaging for sensitive electronics. Production is by deep-drawing/thermoforming from the roll, with material thicknesses of 0.3 to 3.0 mm (PS) and 0.3 to 1.5 mm (A-PET) and forming sizes up to 500 × 700 mm. Materials used are PS, PET/A-PET, on request ESD plastic and recycled material with contents up to almost 100%. Design and in-house toolmaking are located in the same building as production, so custom nest contours can be implemented from the first sample to series production. In addition, the company offers standard formats from its existing tool pool at no tooling cost. Customers come from the electronics, plastics and metal processing, industrial, retail, automotive and medical technology sectors. The family business, founded in 1885, is today run by the fourth generation.
