About Bense & Eicke
Bense & Eicke is a family business founded in 1887, now in its third generation, based in the Edemissen district of Einbeck (southern Lower Saxony). In its own manufactory, the company develops and produces horse care and leather care products such as hoof care products, skin protection and insect repellent sprays, cooling gels, shampoos, gloss sprays, saddle soaps, leather oils and beeswax-based leather balms, as well as feed supplements and treats. The range is complemented by accessories such as grooming equipment made from water-lacquered beechwood from sustainable German forestry. The focus in selecting raw materials and formulations is on natural ingredients; many formulations are purely natural, and some products are made from recycled material or are recyclable. The products are sold via a B2B shop for business customers within Germany, a network of specialist retailers, and internationally through distribution partners. With its partner team of riders, horse people and breeding associations (including the Holsteiner Verband and Hannoveraner Verband), practical feedback flows directly into product development. In 2021, the previous brands Parisol Pferdepflege and B&E Lederpflege were merged into the Bense & Eicke brand.
