About Bentley Switzerland AG

Bentley Switzerland AG (until 2024 Qmedics AG) is a Swiss medical device manufacturer headquartered in Frauenfeld, canton of Thurgau. The company was founded in 2008 in north-eastern Switzerland and develops and manufactures balloon catheters and self-expanding stents made of nitinol for peripheral and aortic vascular surgery and interventional radiology. In addition to manufacturing its own stent portfolio, the company offers contract and OEM manufacturing, contract research and development, as well as EtO sterilization, packaging and labeling of medical devices. Production takes place in cleanrooms; at the new Frauenfeld site, a cleanroom of around 2400 m² is available, one of the largest in Switzerland. Since the acquisition by Bentley InnoMed GmbH from Hechingen (closing on 3 July 2023) and the renaming in January 2024, the company supplies 100 percent to the Bentley Group; around 70 employees work at the Frauenfeld site.
