About BGTB GmbH
BGTB GmbH is a company specializing in deep drilling and machining technology, founded in Dortmund in 1988. Core competence is the conception, design, and manufacture of complete auskammer systems (AWA) as well as special tools for processing internal contours in deep boreholes. The company combines BTA deep drilling with modern CNC technology: After full drilling and, if necessary, pre-drilling, auskammering is performed using the short chamber process with chip distribution, and the final finishing is done with the finishing cut. The tool components are almost entirely produced in-house in Dortmund; additionally, BGTB offers tool grinding, process development including drive units, and commissioning on the production machine. Customers come from machining and deep drilling technology, machine tool building, and oil well drilling technology. As a cooperation partner of the ISF of TU Dortmund, the company continuously carries out research projects.
