Berg Armaturen Steuerungen is a mid-sized family business founded in 1996, based in Stuhr near Bremen, that develops, designs and manufactures remote-controlled valve systems for the maritime industry. The product range includes hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and electro-hydraulic valve actuators, control cabinets and control systems, tank level measurement as well as hydraulic power units. The systems are used on container ships, tankers, bulk carriers, ferries and yachts and operate in piping systems for bilge, ballast, fuel and cargo. All production steps from development through complete manufacturing to commissioning are carried out in-house on approx. 3,000 m² of production space and 600 m² of office space. Around 40 employees belong to the permanent team; since 2003 the company has also been represented with an office in China. Deliveries are made worldwide.
