Berg & Voss Metall Manufaktur in Westfalen has been manufacturing decorative furniture fittings such as furniture handles, furniture knobs, handle rails, coat hooks and furniture feet at its Rietberg site in the heart of the German furniture industry since 2006. The product range includes around 150 different aluminium profiles available from stock, as well as handles and knobs with elements made of natural cattle leather; in addition, furniture handles made of zinc die casting (ZDG) are produced fully automatically. Vertical integration is high: from sawing and CNC milling of the aluminium extruded profiles, through vibratory finishing (trowalizing), to powder coating and wet painting in painting booths with electrostatic equipment, almost everything is produced in-house. Alongside its own manufacturing, the company sees itself as a contract service provider for CNC machining, vibratory finishing, powder coating and wet painting, from prototypes through initial series to large production runs. Its strength lies in individual, highly variant products with medium-sized quantities; delivery is exclusively to industrial customers, with around 80 percent of revenue generated in Germany and the remainder in the rest of Europe.
