About Bergbau Goslar GmbH

Bergbau Goslar GmbH (BGG), based in Goslar, is responsible as legal successor of Preussag AG, the last mining owner of the Rammelsberg, for the aftercare of the former ore mines in the Harz. The company manages and recultivates developed and undeveloped real estate, manages and acquires mining rights, and carries out the securing and closure of mines. Another field of activity is the recovery of mineral waste, including quality class LAGA Z2, at the mining landfill at the Goslar site. In addition, BGG offers consulting, assessment and execution of mining and similar measures, such as the securing of old shafts ordered under hazard law, such as Herzog Georg Wilhelm in Clausthal-Zellerfeld or Anna Eleonore.
