About the Bergbräu Brewery
Bergbräu GmbH & Co KG is a brewery founded in 1868 in Uslar (Northeim district, Lower Saxony) that produces beers, non-alcoholic beers, lemonades and isotonic beverages. The range includes Helles, Pils, Altstadt Dunkel, MaiBock, wheat beer, Alster as well as non-alcoholic variants and the Bergbräu lemonades in lemon, orange and cola mix. In addition to distributing its own brands, the company offers contract brewing (PartnerSud) for the implementation of third-party recipes – from brewing through filling to logistics. The brewhouse built in 1989 enables an annual capacity of 50,000 hl; in 2022, production moved from Rosenstraße to the Brauerei Haffner Straße site. Distribution is regional with a delivery radius of around 40–80 km. As of 30.09.2026, the discontinuation of business operations was announced for economic reasons; 16 employees are affected.
