Bergerhof Maschinenbau is a family business founded in 1963, based in Reichshof in the Oberbergischer Kreis. The manufacturer develops and manufactures bed turners, mattress and bedside cabinet turners, storage trolleys as well as electric pull and push aids for in-hospital transport of beds, meal, laundry and material trolleys. For over 30 years, the company has specialised in bed turners and supplies more than 1,000 hospitals throughout Europe. All production takes place in-house in Reichshof – custom-made solutions are individually tailored to customers' workflows, spatial conditions and existing equipment. The devices are made predominantly of stainless steel 1.4301 and comply with the Medical Devices Directive CE 93/42. Its customer base includes university hospitals and large hospital groups such as Charité Berlin, Helios, Asklepios, Vivantes, Sana, Uniklinik RWTH Aachen and Heidelberg University Hospital.
