About Bergische Elektrochemie
Bergische Elektrochemie manufactures organic substances exclusively for use in electroplating. The company researches, develops and synthesizes organic raw materials and specialty chemicals used in the surface coating of metals, plastics, glass and ceramics. Customers are local and international electroplating specialist firms that use the "Dicolloy" products to develop electroplating processes and supply them to surface finishing operations. The product range includes additives for copper, nickel, chromium (Cr6+ and Cr3+), zinc, zinc alloy as well as tin and tin alloy electrolytes, plus products for demetallization, pickling accelerators, inhibitors and pre- and post-treatments. In addition, the company offers contract manufacturing of customer-own formulations, joint product developments and the modification of standard chemicals. Batch sizes range from smallest quantities in the development laboratory to ISO containers and tank trucks, produced inter alia in large glass reactors. Production takes place at the plant in Haan.
