About Bergkäserei Zillertal

Bergkäserei Zillertal GmbH is a family-owned company in Schlitters in the Zillertal valley that has been producing hard cheese since 1923. The process water is fresh mountain spring water from the region. In addition to the cheese dairy operations, the services include a farm shop/direct sales, an online shop, as well as logistics and shipping; deliveries are made within the EU. According to its own statements, the company works with heat recovery, power management, near-complete utilisation of by-products and recyclable packaging.
