About Bergsiek Behälterbau
Bergsiek Behälterbau GmbH is a family business founded in 1927, now in its fourth generation, headquartered in Rinteln. Originally established as a shipyard for shipbuilding, the company specialised in container construction after a shipping ban was imposed on the Weser and today has more than 40 years of experience in this field. With around 100 employees, Bergsiek develops and manufactures container superstructures and large containers for commercial and municipal vehicles, including sweeper debris containers, vacuum-pressure tanks, refuse compaction containers and custom special superstructures. The steel constructions are produced as one-offs, prototypes or small series of up to 50 containers per year; the range of services includes design, technical consulting, sandblasting and 2K coating, assembly including hydraulics, piping work and electronics, as well as delivery and service. Customers include companies such as Brock Kehrtechnik, EHR Fahrzeugtechnik and Lorenz Spezialaufbauten; private companies and municipal clients across Europe are supplied.
