About us
BERGTRAC Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH is a small enterprise in Seewen (Schwyz) with the core areas of vehicle construction and mountain mechanization. The company builds prototypes and new designs, carries out vehicle conversions and vehicle equipment installations, and provides overhauls, maintenance and repairs for agricultural machinery. BERGTRAC became known through the self-designed and self-built mountain tractor BERGTRAC GT 971 as well as the windshield mower BERGPROFI 266. Its in-house production comprises around 50 products such as cutter bar raise plates made of Hardox, reinforcements, tool boxes and rear trailer covers, partly for renowned vehicle manufacturers such as Lindner, Rapid, FELLA, Brielmaier, Lüönd, Gafner and SCHILTER/SCHILTRAC. Manufacturing takes place in an in-house workshop with a lathe, welding work, sheet metal bending and CAD 3D design; in addition, new and used machines are traded.
