About Berlin Vintage Turntables
Berlin Vintage Turntables (BVT) is a sole proprietorship of Dipl.-Ing. Artem Galukhin in Berlin, specialized in vintage turntables. The range of services includes complete restoration of older turntables including mechanical parts and motor, upgrades such as tonearm replacement, maintenance as well as calibration and adjustment of tonearms and cartridges. A focus is the manufacture of custom-made plinths from solid decorative wood, especially mahogany, and aluminum; to increase damping, holes can be drilled into wooden plinths and filled with lead and sand. BVT operates an online shop with restored turntables of the Thorens and Elektronika brands as well as phono accessories such as cartridges, tonearms and preamplifiers. Customers receive instructions and training for commissioning; shipping is worldwide.
