About Berliner Kindl
Berliner Kindl is a beer brand of the Berliner-Kindl-Schultheiss-Brauerei, which belongs to the Radeberger Gruppe of the Oetker-Gruppe. The brand traces back to the Vereinsbrauerei Berliner Gastwirte zu Berlin AG, founded in Rixdorf in 1872 and renamed Berliner Kindl Brauerei-Aktiengesellschaft in 1910. Bottom-fermented beers in the Bavarian-Munich style as well as wheat beers are brewed; the range is distributed via retail and an own online shop, and personalized anniversary labels are also offered. Since 1907, the golden boy with the stein has symbolized the brand. After the closure of Department I in Neukölln in 2005, production takes place at the Alt-Hohenschönhausen site on Indira-Gandhi-Straße. The company supplies the German market and is rooted in the beverage industry of the greater Berlin-Brandenburg region.
