About LORENTZ

LORENTZ is a company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Henstedt-Ulzburg near Hamburg, specializing 100% in solar-powered water pumping systems. The portfolio covers pump systems from 100 W to 100 kW, including submersible pumps, surface pumps and pool pumps, helical rotor pumps with proprietary DC brushless motor technology (ECDRIVE) as well as hybrid pump controllers of the PSk family that actively blend solar, mains and generator power. Mechanical, electronic and software design is carried out entirely in-house at the Global Headquarters and Technology Center near Hamburg. Products are manufactured at the company's own plant near Beijing, China, in operation since 1995, with an intensive 100% function test for every product manufactured. The systems are designed for off-grid use in rural, sometimes demanding environments, and are distributed via a global partner network in over 130 countries. Application areas include drinking water supply, irrigation in agriculture and livestock farming, swimming pool technology as well as NGO and water utility projects.
