About Berolina Bauchemie

Berolina Bauchemie Behrendt GmbH has been developing and manufacturing screed additives under the BEROLITH® brand since 1967 in Mittenwalde, south of Berlin. The company, converted into a GmbH in 1978, began as an internal solution for its own screed contracting firm and today specialises in screed additives that reduce the drying time of cement and calcium sulphate screeds to two to four days and increase strength values such as flexural and tensile strength. The products are made on the basis of synthetic resins or styrene-acrylate dispersions; since 2014 development and production have taken place in the company's own production facilities in Mittenwalde. Close dialogue with the flooring industry and the concrete industry gave rise to products such as BEROLITH® SPEZIAL FNK (1986, the first cement flowing screed) and BEROLITH® PREMIUM EXPRESS (2006). The liquid additives are supplied in 11-kg canisters and 1100-kg IBC containers via direct shipping and through selected dealers. Target groups are screed layers, architects and trades businesses in industrial flooring construction; communication is in German, English and Spanish.
