Bertfelt Teknik AB is a Swedish company (Aktiebolag) with its head office in Skarpnäck near Stockholm and offers BT-Maric Constant Flow Valves: self-regulating, self-cleaning valves that deliver a preset, non-adjustable volumetric flow – regardless of fluctuating differential pressure. The operating principle is based on a precisely shaped flexible rubber seal (O-ring) in the tapered seat of the valve body, whose opening cross-section changes immediately when pressure fluctuates. The product range includes three standard designs: Threaded Valves for pipes from 1/8" to 2" (DN6–DN50, up to 342 L/min), Inserts for installation in existing lines (up to 233 L/min) and Wafers for flange mounting DN20–DN300 (up to 8,854 L/min); customised OEM solutions achieve up to 13,500 L/min. Valve bodies are offered as standard in brass (gunmetal), U-PVC and stainless steel, with seals in nitrile, EPDM or Viton. The valves are used in dosing and mixing systems, water treatment, waterworks, irrigation and livestock farming, district heating, pump protection in mining as well as in mechanical and plant engineering. European production and distribution as well as customer support for Nordics, Baltics, Poland, Italy and the rest of Europe are run from Stockholm; local sales offices exist in Berlin, The Hague and Paris.
