About the school
The Vocational School Center for Health, Technology and Economics "Erdmann Kircheis" is a public school of the Erzgebirgskreis with locations in Oelsnitz/Erzgebirge and Aue-Bad Schlema. The center teaches vocational students from the metal industry, the automotive trade including automotive sales professionals, construction equipment operators, vocational students from the heating and plumbing sector, the roofing trade, and dual training in dental medicine on behalf of regional and supraregional training companies. For school-based and practical training, barrier-free school buildings with laboratory rooms, computer rooms and sports halls are available. In addition, the BSZ offers the Vocational Gymnasium (Abitur), the Fachschule (technical specialist school), the Pre-vocational Training Year (BVJ), the Basic Vocational Training Year (BGJ) and the Fachoberschule (FOS/FOS+). Training occupations include, among others, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, machining mechanic, tool mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician as well as agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician. Study and career counseling is provided in cooperation with the Federal Employment Agency.
