Berufskolleg Senne is a commercial-technical vocational college of the City of Bielefeld located on the southern slope of the Teutoburg Forest. It educates around 1,650 students in the occupational fields of chemistry, design, printing and media and employs 88 teachers. The offering includes dual apprenticeship occupations (including chemical technician operator, media technologist printing, screen printing and print finishing, packaging media technologist, process mechanic for coating technology, vehicle painter), full-time school programs up to university entrance qualification, as well as further training to become a state-certified technician in printing and media technology, chemical technology and design. For hands-on instruction, workshops, a screen printing shop, a bookbindery, laboratories, photo studios, drawing rooms, 3D printers and robotics equipment are available. The school also trains teachers (traineeship and internship) and cooperates with regional, national and European partners from business and education.
