Besaplast® Kunststoffe GmbH, based in Borken (North Rhine-Westphalia), is a manufacturer of plastic products made by extrusion. Its core business comprises waterstops and joint profiles for sealing construction joints of all kinds in concrete and structural/civil engineering, scanner rails for retail interiors, and single- and co-extruded technical profiles made to customer specifications. In addition, the company carries a range of mainly stock-kept profiles such as formwork accessories and interweaving strips for privacy fences. Production is based on flexible PVC, PVC/NBR to DIN 18541, elastomers to DIN 7865, modified polyethylene and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE); Besaflex® grades hold a general building-authority test certificate (AbP). Services include in-house production of moulded parts and waterstop systems, welding of thermoplastic strips, butt vulcanisation of elastomer strips, and processing steps such as punching, drilling, sawing, printing and labelling. Flexibility in tooling thanks to in-house extrusion die development enables custom solutions; as a member of Besagroup, the company sells its portfolio worldwide.

Besaflex® flexible PVC (AbP)
Flexible PVC with a general building-authority test certificate (AbP) for waterstops under low to normal stress; acid- and alkali-resistant and rot-proof.
Besaflex® BS flexible PVC
Flexible PVC to the company standard, meeting the requirements of the British Standard (BS).
Nitriflex® PVC/NBR to DIN 18541
PVC/NBR with high elongation at break, chemical compatibility and permanent elasticity for heavily stressed structures.
Elastoflex® elastomer to DIN 7865
Vulcanised synthetic rubber for structures with large joint movements, frequent load cycles and low temperatures.
Polyflex polyethylene (PE)
Modified PE to the company standard, preferably used in combination with surface waterproofing membranes (PE films); readily weldable and chemical-resistant.
TPE (thermoplastic elastomer)
Thermoplastic elastomer with high tear elongation, low-temperature flexibility and UV resistance; all joints can be thermoplastically welded.
