BeSeaside is a Hamburg-based company that develops, manufactures and sells design-oriented Adirondack chairs and lounge chairs. The portfolio includes its own products such as the BLU Chair, the ESPRESSO Lounge Chair, the classic Adirondack Chair as well as the Hamburg Alster chair (Hummel chair) and the Alsterbench as a two-seater. The offering is complemented by the distribution of Loll Designs (USA) – outdoor furniture made from recycled plastic – for private customers as well as contract customers from the hotel and gastronomy sectors. Own production takes place 100% in Germany, partly in a modern manufacturing facility near Hamburg, including sanding and finishing work in the company's own workshop. Durable wood species such as Iroko (FSC-certified), robinia, oak and teak are used; for surface treatment (oiling, staining, painting), beSeaside cooperates with the PNZ wood care manufactory. The chairs are 100% repairable with spare parts availability; a care program ('Care for Chair') includes maintenance, refurbishment and winter storage.
